A Friendly Flower Idea from Canada
CNW Group: "TORONTO, Sept. 6 /CNW/ - On Wednesday, September 7th, 2005 residents of Toronto will have the unique opportunity to meet each other and develop new friendships when Canadiana Flowers hosts their 3rd annual FTD(R) Good Neighbour Day(R) event. Beginning 9:00am, Canadiana will give away 15,000 roses in bunches of a dozen, absolutely FREE to anyone who visits the Eglinton Square Shopping Centre location (located at the corner of Victoria Park Avenue & Eglinton Ave E), while supplies last. There is one catch, however - Stephen & Chris Mangos, the owners of Canadiana Flowers hope the goodwill is exactly that - 'catching'. Anyone who picks up a dozen free flowers will be asked to sign a promise to keep one of the flowers for themselves and give the others away to 11 different people - spreading goodwill and friendship in the community. Canadiana Flowers is also asking for a small donation to be given to help support Habitat for Humanity. A cheque presentation will be made to Habitat opening day of the Fall Home Show, at the Automotive Building, Exhibition Place on Thursday, September 29th, 2005"
